Our task is to reply fast and correctly to customers’ leads. The goal is never to get above 2 hours delay between 8-20.

At the beginning, select the bookbot domains you are working on.

Select solver queue, if you’re in the new Leads team (there, make sure you always resolve all escalated leads before possible filtering to individual domains)

Book specialist Level 1 - Beginner

  1. Determine Bookbot selling price based on the photos provided - the acceptance threshold is 100 CZK

    1. If you know already what the book price on Bookbot is, that’s great
    2. if not sure, search for the books price until you find it:
      1. Bookbot - if we have them, consider the current price of a Good / Very Good book on stock
      2. Bookbot - if we don’t have the book now - click through from customer web to manny and search for the last book price
      3. External sources - if we never had the book
        1. CZ, SK - continue search on trhknih.cz , then on google, google Lens can also help
        2. DE - use booklooker.de, then google (prefer results from abebooks, amazon)
        3. EN, and all others - use google (prefer results from abebooks, amazon)

  2. Consider additional information

    1. supplier history and performance - visible in the top right corner

      1. do not give preferential treatment to new suppliers
      2. slightly favor historically well performing suppliers

    2. book state - for books severely damaged, apply higher acceptance threshold - 500 CZK

    3. size of the book - for significantly larger books, apply higher acceptance threshold - 150 CZK

    4. count of books on stock - high number is not necessarily wrong (combined with low price, it definitely is)

    5. surrounding environment of the books - are they in a dirty basement? on the floor?

    6. Pravidla pro příjem knih - always remember the rules of what type of books we accept (e.g. no magazines with the exception of comics magazines)

    7. in case we never had the book - just take it! It will help us build the catalogue for better future decision making

  3. Make the final decision - send the reply to the customer:

    1. Accepted - more than 80 % of books are above 100 CZK - we want all (in case of presence of more valuable books (300+ CZK) we can be even less strict. The goal is to make it as smooth and simple for the supplier as possible - especially when there are more valuable books.
    2. Partially accepted - use the drawing - mark specifically what we want and what not - book by book or in sections

    c.   Rejected - no books above 100 CZK

    The minimum total value of accepted books should be above 500 CZK (at least 5 books for 100 CZK or 1 for 500 CZK, or something in between)
