<aside> 💼 I started at Bookbot as a temporary worker - I also studied economics and 20th century history. Before Bookbot it was a part-time job at Luxor and part-time financial management of two EU projects - so books and numbers. Today I run customer support where we look after customers in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Germany.

💁 Team

What was the last thing you were most proud of your team for?

Working in customer support can be mentally challenging; I'm proud of my team every day when they handle hundreds of (often non-standard and sometimes bizarre) queries and requests, always helpful and smiling - then go home without setting the whole place on fire, and then again the next day.

Why doesn´t your team like you?

I have a particular fondness for country and Czechoslovakian normalization pop music - and I like to terrorize the whole department with both.

What qualities do you look for in your team members?

Stress resistance, curiosity and a positive attitude - key qualities for working in customer support.

Proactivity, a willingness to try new things and an enthusiasm for finding untrodden paths and unconventional solutions - key qualities for working across Bookbot.

⌨️ Who is Bookbot for?

Boobot is definitely not for the person who likes to go 9-5 to "do their own thing" and leave at the exact time - on the contrary, the person who wants to fulfill himself, is full of ideas (and not afraid to push them) and knows that "better done than perfect" will feel like a fish in water.

What do you think unites the people who work at Bookbot?

Enthusiasm and passion for the cause, creativity in finding ways to achieve seemingly impossible goals, specific - far from being bookish - humour in every situation (and especially where it is not at all out of place).

What do you think Bookbot will look like in five years?
